DayDreams is a small private company specialising in gulet cruising and sailing along the stunning coastline of south west Turkey. Founded in 1987 by Jenny Day, the firm is celebrating 30 years in 2018. Latterly the Dodecanese islands between Samos and Rhodes has become a favourite cruising area with regular clients and many of our gulets will travel there in 2018. The team, both in the UK and Turkey, are experts in organising tailor-made travel in Turkey, particularly gulet holidays, Istanbul city breaks and land tours to areas such as Cappadocia and inland Aegean. The DayDreams team can advise on all aspects of a gulet charter, from the itinerary, to the most appropriate boat, archaeological sites to visit and areas best suited to walking and exploring on shore. Their organisational skills and expertise really will make the difference.
GULET PRIVATE CHARTERS
DayDreams sources its collection of beautiful gulets and schooners from Bodrum in south west Turkey. Traditional wood boats have been plying their trade along the ancient Anatolian coast for centuries with Bodrum at the heart of the trade. It is one of the most important old towns with a tradition of boat building. With over 30 boats of varying size and standards to choose from, you can be sure to find something to suit you for an exclusive private gulet holiday. There are several categories: standard, luxury, deluxe, plus a few super deluxe gulets now added to the list. Aside from fixing on the port to start and finish your charter, our flexible approach to how you spend your day, will enable you to plan your route with your captain once you are settled on board. Numerous archaelogical sites can be incorporated into your itinerary. Delicious menus are planned around your tastes utilising some of the marvellous ingredients found in local markets.
GULET CABIN BOOKINGS
Gulet holidays, in the style of a floating house-party, for single travellers and couples have been operated by DayDreams for over 30 years. Individuals can enjoy the same high standard of service provided on private charters by booking a cabin only, avoiding the financial implications of taking on an entire boat. These gulet holidays are operated on board the Cevri Hasan III with escorted itineraries. We are also fortunate to have an excellent cook on this gulet so you are guaranteed some wonderful meals. 2018, our 30th year will start in May with itineraries Bodrum to Fethiye and the Lycian coastline.
